The Q500 Plus Diuresis Measuring System supports accurate urine output monitoring while helping to reduce the risk of retrograde infections.

Designed to reduce the risk of retrograde infections.
Top-Mounted System Design
Ensures one-way flow away from the patient. The chamber empties completely by gravity into the drainage bag, preventing backflow.
Top-mounted urine meters, with the measuring chamber above the collection bag, have demonstrated the lowest rates of retrograde contamination.1,2
Double-Lumen Free-Flow System
Ensures continuous urine flow and prevents residual urine from remaining in the tubing, reducing the risk of bacterial migration toward the bladder.
The dual-lumen design allows urine and air to circulate freely, supporting consistent drainage.
Two Non-Return Valves (NRV)
Prevent urine backflow. The NRV positioned at the top of the drainage bag prevents urine from flowing back towards the measuring chamber.
The second NRV, located before the Q•CON sampling connector, prevents fluid from flowing back into the catheter.

Clear Measuring Scale
Dark teal scale on a white background with 1ml markings enables quick and precise readings, suitable even for paediatric patients.
Double-Lumen Drainage Tube
The double-lumen tube supports free-flow circulation by allowing urine and air to circulate freely, helping prevent residual urine in the tubing and supporting complete and accurate measurement.
Tubing loops can be easily cleared into the measuring chamber by gently raising and lowering it, supporting complete and accurate measurement.

Hygienic urine disposal with a 2L Empty Bag with non-return valve, fitted for attachment to the Q500 Plus bottom outlet.
Use-once outlet on the Empty Bag enables splash-free discharge and prevents reuse.
